Undergraduate Studies provides strong set of Student Success programs designed to make it more likely that students will successfully navigate the complexities of the transition to college and the baccalaureate experience. (It integrates academic endeavors with meaningful experiences within myriad student development programs.) Together, they aim to provide coordinated opportunities for students to develop their identities and intellectual competencies for successful careers and lifelong learning.

Office of Orientation
The Office of Orientation is committed to providing all incoming students the resources to be successful. We strive to provide excellent customer service and knowledge about the University of South Florida. We provide intentional and specific programming for first year students, transfer students, international students and their families.
Student Support Services (SSS)
The Student Support Services Program (SSS) is a federally-funded retention program that provides effective academic and personal support for a diverse student population. The program is designed to significantly increase the retention and graduation rates of its participants.
Upward Bound Program
Upward Bound at the University of South Florida is one of the eight TRIO programs funded by the United States Department of Education. Upward Bound provides fundamental support to participants in their preparation for college entrance.

The Office of Academic Services is the central point for the development and maintenance of USF and USF System undergraduate curricular projects and initiatives.

Academic Success Center
The Academic Success Center provides tutoring, a writing studio, and a Science, Math, and a SMART Lab designed to provide hands-on learning for STEM related coursework.

Army, Naval, and Air Force ROTC
USF is one of only 50 campuses in the Nation that hosts ROTC programs from all of the nation's Armed Services (Army, Marine Corps, Navy, and Air Force).
Joint Military Leadership Center (JMLC)
The Joint Military Leadership Center focuses on preparing future commissioned officers to lead in a joint, multi-national environment through providing and maintaining a unique, state of the art, joint training facility for ROTC; sponsorship of joint activities; and promotion of joint planning and inter-service cooperation.
