First Alumni Chapter in the Middle East Recognized by USF
TAMPA, Fla (July 11, 2018) – USF World, in partnership with the USF Alumni Association, is proud to recognize the formation of the initial charter of the USF Saudi Arabia Alumni Chapter, the first of its kind in the Middle East. The purpose of the chapter will be to connect and unite USF alumni in Saudi Arabia through meaningful events throughout the upcoming years.
USF World held a celebration today to present Alrobei with the charter certificate for the new alumni chapter. "I want to thank Dr. Brindley for embracing the idea of launching a new alumni chapter in Saudi Arabia," said Alrobei, who recently earned his PhD in Engineering and will be returning home to pursue a career in higher education as professor.
The university and alumni association are grateful for such passionate alumni and hope this relationship may continue to strengthen USF's presence in Saudi Arabia and the broader region. We wish great success to the chapter leadership as they start this new endeavor and encourage alumni in Saudi Arabia to be enthusiastic ambassadors for USF.
