Using Contracts
USF is able to make use of the contracts of other agencies who have conducted a formalized
quote process such as a public solicitation, RFP, ITN or ITB. This makes using contracts one of the most efficient and cost-effective ways to make purchases for commodities
and services!
The resources below link to existing public contracts that cover a wide variety of
services and commodities.
For documentation, a copy of the contract should always be attached to the requisition request along with the contract number and/or weblink, and the quote should reference the pricing agreement or contract number.

The list below contains suppliers for a number of commodity and service categories who have been awarded contracts through USF Public Solicitation Events, or where USF has contracted directly with a supplier publically sourced by other government agencies. A USF contract number should be referenced for PO's.

Other public Contracts
Cooperative contracts are widely-used, competitively bid agreements between the government and suppliers to lower the costs of procuring goods or services by consolidating spending.
Other educational institutions and government agencies have competitively sourced
contracts that are available for other agencies to use. Each contract's terms and
conditions must indicate a statement that the award allows other entities to use it.

U.S. GENERAL SERVICE AGREEMENTS (GSA)
USF, as a state government entity is authorized to make purchases only certain items under the Cooperative Purchasing Program Multiple Award Schedules (MAS).

All MAS products and services are available, when buying in support of disaster preparation, response, and major disaster recovery, as well as recovery from biological, radiological, or terrorist attacks.
Equipment to support counterdrug missions, homeland security, and emergency response from General Services Administration (GSA), Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), and Department of Defense (DoD) sources of supply.
All MAS products and services are available when spending federal grants funds in direct response to public health emergencies.
