Rising 10 spots in just one year, USF reached #58 among public universities and jumped to #124 of all universities in the country in the U.S. News & World Report Best Colleges. Our rapid rise in recent years has surpassed the pace of all other Florida universities and all but two other schools in the nation.

A proud Golden Age university, USF is a world leader among young universities. We hosted the Times Higher Education Summit in 2018, coming together with our peer institutions to collaborate, to set audacious goals and to write new rules for achievement in higher education.

USF Health’s Morsani College of Medicine is reinventing the future of health with new facilities at Water Street. With the expansion of Morsani into downtown Tampa, USF is creating the world’s first-ever wellness district, as well as an advanced educational environment to attract the best students, residents and researchers and a wealth of new funding.
