Chris McRae teaches courses in performance studies. His research focuses on listening, embodiment and performance, and pedagogy. He is author of Listening for Learning: Performing a Pedagogy of Sound and Listening (Peter Lang 2021), Performative Listening (Peter Lang, 2015), and is co-author of A Practice Session for Pedagogy: Creating Performances for Teaching and Learning co-authored with Aubrey Huber (Palgrave 2017).
