USF Humanities Institute coordinates special events, lectures, and residencies in a variety of humanities disciplines.
Special Events Coordination. An intern would be responsible for assisting with the many special events run by the Humanities Institute. Depending on the intern's skill level, tasks may include marketing/design, website content design, social media, and distribution of print materials. Intern may also assist in coordinating hospitality efforts, travel arrangements, and logistics on the day of the event.
Most H.I. events are in the evening. While the intern would not need to attend all events, having some evening availability would be important. Availability on either Wednesday afternoons (2pm - 6pm) or Thursday nights (5pm to 9pm) would give the intern maximum opportunity to participate in the actual events. Dress for event days should be business appropriate."
