Hillsborough River State Park, Ybor City Museum State Park, and Ft. Foster Historic Site are part of the Florida Park Service. Florida's park system includes 171 state parks and trails and over 800,000 acres of land.

Internship Description

Docent Intern: Learn the unique history of Ybor History and assist park staff in interpreting that history for visitors and large school groups. The intern would need to coordinate a set schedule that would be mutually beneficial to the student and staff.

History Event Intern: Assist our 3 park system in developing a plan for a two or three day, 3 park history event. The intern would need to be heavily involved in early planning, marketing, and networking with support agencies.

Grant Writer Intern: Assist our 3 park system in researching, writing, and reviewing, small grant opportunities in support of historical and cultural events.
