Tampa Bay Businesses for Culture and the Arts (TBBCA) is a nonprofit organization that unites area businesses to champion arts and culture for a prosperous community through innovative partnerships and sustainable programs. TBBCA was founded in 1989, as an outgrowth of the Cultural Affairs Council of the Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce and was the first Florida affiliate of the National Business Committee for the Arts, a national organization established by David Rockefeller and a core group of America’s top business leaders

Internship Description

The TBBCA seeks interns to assist the Executive Director with special event planning and general administration. Tasks may include maintaining the TBBCA database, distributing press releases, managing the charity's social networking pages (twitter, facebook, linked in, etc), procuring in-kind and silent auction donations, coordinating and managing volunteers and graphic design.

Fall interns will also assist with the annual Impact Awards Benefit. Spring interns will also assist with the Chalk Festival and the scholarship program.

Additional requirements: The TBBCA office is located in downtown Tampa. Office hours are flexible, but must be scheduled Mon-Fri from 9-5.
