Strategic and Cyber Intelligence Program

The Strategic and Cyber Intelligence Program (SCIP) is an Intelligence Community Center of Academic Excellence (legacy IC-CAE). The Congressionally-mandated IC CAE program was established to support the development of intelligence education and national security programs through partnership with selected universities. SCIP has established several Academic Programs to support this objective at the Graduate and Undergraduate level.

Academic Programs

SCIP Academic programs include a Master of Science in Intelligence Studies (STEM), a Strategic Intelligence Concentration, Master of Science in Intelligence Studies (STEM), Cyber Intelligence Concentration, and a Master of Science in Cybersecurity, Cyber Intelligence Concentration. Undergraduate programs include the Undergraduate Minor in Intelligence Studies and a BS in Information Science, Intelligence Analysis Concentration.

Graduate Certificates

There are two certificate programs, a Graduate Certificate in Strategic Intelligence and a Graduate Certificate in Cyber Intelligence.

Graduate Catalog for Intelligence Studies

The Master of Science (M.S.) in Intelligence Studies is an online, applied graduate major designed to train a “next generation” of information and intelligence professionals for the private and public sectors. Fllow the link below to the USF Graduate Course Catalog to learn more about the program.

DoD Cyber Scholarship Program

The DoD is seeking rising junior and senior (third and fourth year) undergraduate and graduate/ doctoral students who are interested in full-ride scholarships for concentrated studies in cybersecurity and other cyber-related disciplines. This requires the student to agree to serve one year of service to the DoD, upon graduation, for each year or partial year of scholarship received, in addition to an internship.
