Visiting Assistant Professor
The Department of Mathematics & Statistics seeks to fill two 9-month, full-time Visiting Assistant Professor positions with a teaching load of two courses per semester. Salary is $65,000 with a start date of August 7, 2022. This is a visiting position for the 2022-23 academic year, with a possible extension for a second and/or third year.
Minimum qualifications include a Ph.D. from an accredited institution in Mathematics, Statistics or a closely-related field with a demonstrated record of achievement in research. Must meet University criteria for appointment to the rank of Assistant Professor. Preference will be given to candidates with a proven research record whose expertise overlaps with existing areas in the department, and experience in teaching at the University level.
