Bio

Abidemi “Bid” Ologunde is a PhD student in Government at the USF School of Interdisciplinary Global Studies. He has a cybersecurity and homeland security background, with prior graduate degrees from the University of South Florida and Arizona State University. His research interests include: cybersecurity policy, the politics of securitized technology, cyber deterrence, and offensive/defensive cyber realism theory. Bid likes to travel often and has visited all 50 US states and also several other countries. He currently serves on the University Conduct Board at USF. He enjoys cooking contemporary African cuisines, US Midwest cuisines (Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska), and Florida/Georgia/South Carolina cuisines. He mentors orphans and under-privileged kids as a pastime.
