Carolyn worked as the Digital Technologies Librarian at Vassar College before coming to USF. She comes from a background in Internet activism and community organizing and founded the St. Petersburg, Florida chapter of the Electronic Frontier Foundation. She is primarily interested in the relationship between government and corporate surveillance, theories of freedom and democracy, and the intersection of technology and policy.
