Bio

Tessa Barber is a Ph.D. student in the Politics and International Affairs
program in the School of Interdisciplinary Global Studies (SIGS) at the
University of South Florida. She earned two Bachelor of Arts degrees from
Florida Gulf Coast University, graduating with her B.A. in Political Science
in 2022 and her B.A. in English in 2023. Her current academic interests
include political theory, American political institutions, and the influence of
polar politics on legislative and electoral behaviors.
