Undergraduate Programs

As of summer 2020 USF has consolidated all of its campuses. USF is now one university geographically located with campuses in Tampa, St. Petersburg, and Sarasota.

The School of Interdisciplinary Global Studies has three undergraduate programs: Bachelor's in Africana Studies, Bachelor's in International Studies, and Bachelor's in Political Science. Each major offers students interesting and challenging curriculum that imparts subject matter knowledge and teaches important skills, such as oral and written communication proficiency and critical thinking. These majors prepare students for rewarding careers in government and politics, military service, international affairs, nonprofits, education, and the private sector.

They are also ideal for students who wish to pursue graduate degrees, especially for law school, public policy degrees, and academic fields in the humanities and social sciences. SIGS has extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and caring academic advisors who guide students through the major and allow them to graduate in a timely fashion. We invite you to explore each major to see for yourself how much SIGS has to offer in undergraduate education.
