Law Internships

The Political Science Internship Program allows students to pursue experiential learning in the legal field by supporting approved internships with organizations within the public sector, including at the federal level, the U.S. Department of Justice; at the state level, the Office of the Attorney General (Tampa), at the regional level, the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit, and at the local level, the State Attorney’s Office and Office of the Public Defender. It is the student’s responsibility to secure an internship and seek approval for academic credit from the POS Internship Advisor. In addition to the Political Science Internship Program Application, a student may be required to complete a separate agency application – pay attention to agency specific deadlines!
