Professions We Advise

The Health Professions Advisors serves as an information resource connecting students with Health Professions Schools and programs. Regardless of official major, students can still indicate an interest in pre-health in addition to officially declaring their major--by emailing the USF Division of Health Professions Advising at healthprofadvise@usf.edu. At USF, the Health Professions Advisors currently counsel students on the following areas:

  • Medical School (M.D. and D.O.)
  • Physician Assistant
  • Physical Therapy
  • Occupational Therapy
  • Dental School
  • Pharmacy School
  • Veterinary Medicine
  • Optometry School
  • Podiatry School
  • Anesthesiologist Assistant
  • Chiropractic Medicine

*At this time, the USF Division of Health Professions Advising does not advise for the nursing profession. Students interested in nursing will want to contact the USF School of Nursing.*
