About BFA

Overview

Budget and Financial Analysis (BFA) provides financial and analytical support for the instructional, research and service missions of the University of South Florida as well as coordination for university budgets, internal management and state reporting.  Commonly known at other universities as Financial Planning and Analysis, BFA provides leadership in strategic decision-making and technology-based solutions, delivery of critical information guiding financial planning and overall support of the university's goals of excellence and financial stability.  BFA’s component areas have collaborative missions including SUS financial and budget reporting, internal reporting and analysis, financial and management systems support, business decision support, as well as data administration and state reporting management. BFA also manages the new Bulls Budget System (Axiom software) including (but not limited to) user access and security, report writing, forecasting and position control support.
