Clinton Daniel is an instructor in the Information Systems and Decision Sciences Department, teaching courses in business intelligence, business data communications, business application development, distributed information systems, managing information resources, case method publications and systems analysis and design. Additionally, Daniel teaches special topic boot camps such as SharePoint, Big Data, Dashboard Development, Electronic Health Record Systems, and Cybersecurity.
Before joining the USF faculty in 2014, he worked in several information technology roles for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, including managing a data warehouse for seven VA medical centers and developing business intelligence solutions for the VA and its customers. He had a prior career in physical therapy, both in private practice and in the U.S. Army as a combat medic and physical therapy specialist. He is a partner with SunCoast Technology Consulting.
Daniel earned a Doctor of Business Administration degree in 2018 and a master's degree in management information systems in 2006. Both degrees were awarded from the University of South Florida.
