Muma College of Business Atrium
Given the increased level of competition business students face in today’s job market, there is no better time than the present for job-seekers to strengthen their resumes. To satisfy this growing need, the Office of Employer Relations in the USF Muma College of Business hosts every fall semester the Career Clinic for business students.
Tampa Bay and national recruiters provide resume reviews on walk-in basis to over 100 business students in a relaxed setting of the BSN Atrium. In addition to a first impression feedback, recruiters identify the key strengths and areas of improvement to ensure students’ resumes are competitive and ready for the major job fairs and job applications. Students sign in and wait their turn to have their resume critiqued and are also encouraged to ask questions about the newest trends in resume writing, interviewing, and job search.
Not only is this event fun for the students involved, but the resume reviewers, many of whom are also USF alumni, admit how good it feels to give back to the university community.
This year’s recruiters are from the following companies: Accusoft, Citi, Cousins Logistics, Datex, Enterprise Holdings, JPMorgan Chase, Levin Financial, Metlife, Wellcare.
