About the Event...

Corporate Connections is the networking event exclusively for graduate business students to meet representatives from regional and national employers to learn about career opportunities. Informal discussions at this reception-style event take place in a more relaxed environment than a typical career fair. While it is more relaxed, the professional dress rules for career fair etiquette still apply and, if possible, attendees should research some of the companies attending prior to the event. Unlike a career fair, at this event students often approach an employer on their own and begin a conversation.

At a networking event such as this one, follow-up will be your key to success. Students should send the employers a handwritten thank you note within 24 hours, reminding the corporate representatives of the conversation shared and expressing gratitude for their time.
