Katlyn Kurtz

Communications & Marketing Specialist

Katlyn Kurtz is a member of the department's marketing team and serves as the Communications and Marketing Specialist. She assisted in the creation of the department's first Design Guide, serving as the lead content editor, and helps maintain those standards across the department's print and digital marketing efforts. She is responsible for managing the annual Student Career Guide and Employer Recruitment Guide projects, and for designing flyers, handouts, and signage for all career fairs and events. She also writes and edits the posts on the department's blog, Professional Edge, and assists with social media planning.

Katlyn began her employment with the office of Career Services as a Career Peer Advisor in August 2014. Prior to joining Career Services, she was a Student Assistant in the Honors College at USF and worked as a Resident Assistant with Housing and Residential Education.

Katlyn received a Bachelor of Arts degree in English with a concentration in creative writing and a minor in philosophy from the University of South Florida in August 2015. Katlyn completed the graduate-level Denver Publishing Institute at the University of Denver in August 2016.
