Part-Time Job Fair
WHAT IS THE PART-TIME JOB FAIR?
If you have an opening for a part-time position, the Part-Time Job Fair is a great opportunity to talk to USF students looking for employment. The Part-Time Job Fair is open to all students, dress is casual and resumes are not required. Any recruiter representing his/her direct hiring organization (to include staffing agencies) may participate in the Part-Time Job Fair.

USF Career Services assesses tiered registration fees per fair based on organization type and registration date.
Corporation Organizations: Please note that all fees listed below and in Handshake include the 8.5% sales tax for Hillsborough County.
- Early Registration, One Table: $189.88
- Early Registration, Two Tables: $244.13
- Regular Registration, One Table: $217.00
- Regular Registration, Two Tables: $271.25
- Additional Representative (price per person): $16.28
Non-Profit/Government Organizations: Please note you will be asked to provide a copy of your Tax Exemption Certificate to receive the discounted registration rate listed below.
- Early Registration, One Table: $175.00
- Early Registration, Two Tables: $225.00
- Regular Registration, One Table: $200.00
- Regular Registration, Two Tables: $250.00
- Additional Representative (price per person): $15.00
Registrations are approved on a first come, first served basis; space is limited and registration for certain fairs may become full before the advertised closing date. Marketing and booth placement depends on the time of registration.
- Early Registration Rate begins November 2, 2018 at 8:00 a.m.
- Regular Registration Rate begins February 28, 2019 at 5:01 p.m.
- Deadline for Inclusion in Maps / Cancellation/Refund Deadline is March 14, 2019 at 5:00 p.m.
Early Registration Rate
In order to receive the Early Registration Rate, simply complete the registration form and we will do the rest!
All registrants will select the Regular Registration Rate appropriate for their organization type. If the registration was submitted during the Early Registration period, the total registration fee will be adjusted by Career Services staff during the review and approval process when an "Early Registration Discount" will be applied. This discount will be applied to registrations based on the day/time of submission, according to the registration timeline above.
Please wait until your registration status changed been changed to "Approved" in order to confirm your discount was applied and fees are listed correctly.
Deadline for Inclusion in Maps, Cancellation/Refund Deadline
In order to ensure your organization is included in the employer listing for the fair map, you must register before the Cancellation/Refund Deadline.

Part-Time Job Fair Registration includes the following (unless additional items are purchased, where noted):
- One 6’x30” display table located in one booth space (unless additional table is purchased,
apply), organized by registration date
- Parking passes, breakfast, and lunch for 1 representative (unless additional representatives
additional fees apply)
- Space for 4 representatives (additional representative fees apply after the first representative)
- Electricity (you must provide your own extension cords)
- Displays and banners are permitted with this registration type, however, they must be limited in size and placed on top of or directly behind the table
Display Size Policy
Display materials may not exceed the size of the table, and for the comfort of participating employers and attending students, we strongly discourage large displays at these fairs.
Displays must be placed on top of the table or directly behind the table ensuring the aisles are not blocked and neighboring booths are not impeded. USF Career Services reserves the right to review the placement of all displays, provide notification of the policy, and instruct the changes to be made to ensure aisles and booths are not blocked.
For an organization with displays larger than the table, a second table must be purchased before the fair in order for the oversized display to be set up. If an organization does not purchase a second table in advance and sets up the oversized display at the fair, USF Career Services reserves the right to review the display and booth, provide notification of the policy, and charge for the second table after the fair.
Additional tables are granted on a first-come, first-served basis and Career Services reserves the right to refuse additional table space. An organization may purchase only one additional table for any fair they attend.
Fair registration includes accommodations for one representative, with space for a maximum of four representatives to staff each table. There is an Additional Representative fee for each additional representative after the first which all organizations will be charged.
For organizations bringing more than four representatives, an Additional Table must be purchased which includes accommodations for one representative and increases the overall booth space for a maximum of eight representatives to staff the tables.
Our fairs can be crowded and in response to employer feedback, USF Career Services will verify that employers are adhering to the permitted maximum number of representatives. As a result, Career Services reserves the right to assess the number of representatives (either listed as intended attendees on the registration or in person at the fair), provide notification of the policy, and charge for additional representatives accordingly (either before or after the fair).
Cancellation & Refund Policy
USF Career Services has posted the Cancellation & Refund Policy, Career Fairs & Recruitment Events. As noted in the policy, cancellations received in writing (via email to email@example.com) prior to the cancellation deadline two weeks before the event, will receive a full refund or credit towards a future event. No refunds or credits will be issued for cancellations received after the deadline date or "no-shows." Please refer to the Cancellation & Refund Deadline listed within the Registration Timelines section above.
During the registration process, you will be asked to acknowledge that you have read and agree to this cancellation and refund policy.
USF Goes Green with Career Fair Apps
We now provide access to career fair maps and information about the fairs through the Career Fair Plus app! Within the app, students and recruiters will be able to see which organizations are attending, review company descriptions and booth locations, and navigate an interactive map of the fair spaces.
It further provides you with recruiter-specific information, including logistics and real-time updates about the fair (such as when lunch is served!).
