National Student Employment Week

During National Student Employment Week (NSEW), always the second full week of April, USF celebrates the successes of on-campus student employment by honoring the most exemplary student employee and supervisor for their work. During the week of April 8 - 12, 2019, USF marks its eighth year participating in this national celebration, initiated by the National Student Employment Association.

Celebrating National Student Employment Week

Departments may host their own celebrations for students and supervisors and you'll find resources to help you below.

Our supervisors and staff know our student employees the best. With that in mind, we want to put the importance of creating a celebration of your student employees in your hands. We've provided some helpful ideas as a starting point, but please feel free to ask questions if you are trying to plan something special during National Student Employment Week.

Remember, we're also celebrating our student employee supervisors. So if you have an outstanding supervisor, or know one, tell them thank you and that their work and leadership is appreciated!

THE CELEBRATION IS SOCIAL!

Use #USFNSEW on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter to show us how you are celebrating the efforts of our student employees and their supervisors!

RECOGNITION TOOL KIT

We've put together a recognition tool kit to help you with creative and fun ways to recognize the students who work in your area.
