Florida Statewide Job Fair for Students

The 2018 Florida Statewide Job Fair, sponsored by the Florida Career Centers organization, is a free, in-person event for all current USF students and alumni.

What employers are attending?

This annual event in Orlando brings employers together who are ready to hire for full-time and internship opportunities.  A full list of participating employers can be found online in Handshake.

Where is the event held?

The Statewide Job Fair will be held on the campus of the University of Central Florida in Orlando, Florida.  It will be held at the CFE Arena.  You can click here for directions.

Do I have to register for the fair?

No, you do not need to register for the fair in advance.  You will, however, need to register when you arrive at UCF to get a nametag and to be able to enter the fair.  As always, details are available in Handshake.

What is the dress code for the fair?

The dress code for this fair is business professional.  Remember, if you do not have business professional attire, you can use Suit-A-Bull and borrow them for free!  Click here for more information.

Should I bring resumes with me to the fair?

Yes! Having resumes, along with a notepad/padfolio, pen, and business cards (if you have them) allows you to be ready to handle any situation that may come up as you attend the fair and meet with employers.  If you're not sure your resume is ready for the Statewide Job Fair, take advantage of our walk-in Career Express Service ... no appointment needed!

Is there transportation between USF and the Fair?

This year, there is no transportation assistance from the USF Tampa campus to the Statewide Job Fair.  We encourage you to use your class group pages to arrange a carpool.
