Join USF Career Services and The Learning Academy at USF for a webinar on hiring and working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Featuring Scott Fontechia and Christine Hugh, this webinar will provide participants with examples drawn from their work with ZooTampa at Lowry Park, PwC, Enterprise Holdings, Transporation Control Systems, and Ukulele Brands. The webinar will also provide participants with information about the variety of incentives and resources available for employers who hire individuals with ASD.

About the Presenters

Scott Fontechia
Employment Specialist and Job Developer

Scott Fontechia is a University of South Florida alumni who has been working with individuals with an autism diagnosis for 8 years in many different capacities. Scott has been providing employment services to adults diagnosed with ASD through The Learning Academy at USF for nearly 3 years – check out this recent article on the program's success!

Christine Hugh
Employment Specialist and Job Coach
The Learning Academy at USF

Christine Hugh is a Job Coach for The Learning Academy. In this role, she assists clients to be successful in meeting job expectations by using individualized job coaching strategies and supports before job seeking and after being hired. She partners with employers to provide training and consultation that encourages successful onboarding, long-term productivity, and ADA compliance.

Lynn Chisholm
Director of Internships and Career Readiness
USF Career Services

Lynn Chisholm is responsible for the overall administration and supervision of the Internship and Career Readiness team to develop, support, and manage student career-relevant experiential learning opportunities and programming. Previously, Lynn was the Internship and Prior Learning Assessment Coordinator at Polk State College, Human Resources Specialist with the City of Lakeland in workforce and organization development, Clinic Director at the University of Georgia Speech and Hearing Clinic, and Speech and Language Clinic Coordinator at Florida State University in the Communication Sciences and Disorders Department.
