INFORMATION FOR THE USF COMMUNITY
The transition to Handshake represents a significant milestone in the continuing evolution of our office and the way in which we deliver services to our students, alumni, employers, and you, the faculty and staff of the University of South Florida's Tampa campus.
During the Fall of 2015, as a result of USF's participation in the Florida Consortium of Metropolitan Research Universities, members of our team had the opportunity to review career management software packages from a number of leading vendors. Over the course of the "demonstration days" event, Handshake's platform, with its unique use of cloud based technologies and modern "millennial friendly" interface design, inspired us to think about how we could improve the quality of experience for our students, alumni, and employers.
After a series of discussions with Handshake and an on-site deep-dive exercise, it was clear that Handshake offers us the ability to provide online access to the constituencies we serve in a better, faster, and more efficient way than our current system allows. We've posted more information about Handshake here, including information about the company and other schools that use it.
As we implement Handshake, we encourage you to check this area of our website for the latest information and updates on our rollout. Our team is excited about this upgrade for Employ-A-Bull and as we get things built out, we'll post invitations for opportunities to come see the new system below. We will also be archiving all of our e-mail communications to the University community on this page for an easy to access reference.
