What types of appointments are available?
We offer both in-person and online (in Handshake) career coaching appointments. Appointments are typically 30-45 minutes in length.
How do I schedule an appointment?
Be sure you have your notifications in Handshake set-up in order to receive e-mail reminders for your appointments. If you are not sure how to manage your notifications, this Handshake article can help you.
How do I cancel an appointment?
If you need to cancel your appointment, please log back into Handshake and use the appointment tool to cancel and/or reschedule your appointment. You may do this up to one hour before your appointment's start time, but we ask that you cancel an appointment as early as possible so another student or alum may use the time.
If it is less than an hour before your appointment's start time OR you missed your appointment entirely, please send an email to CareerServices@usf.edu to let us know what happened. Missed appointments are subject to our No-Show Policy.
What if I have technical problems during a virtual appointment?
All of our virtual appointments will be delivered inside of Handshake. Please review this Handshake article for recommendations on how to fix audio or video issues.
