Getting Started

Introducing Career Hub

Start here by learning about the exciting new programs and services available as part of our strategic realignment into the Career Hub!

Career Workshops

Our Career Workshops are designed to help all USF students build the career readiness and career literacy skills needed to succeed now and in the future! Our workshops can provide you with help to build a resume, write a cover letter, choose a career path, interview, network, and make the choice between grad school and entering the workforce. More details are located in the Catalog and Schedule. Register to attend via Handshake.

Career Fairs and Events

Each semester Career Services provides a number of programs to help you explore different occupations and learn about the career options available to you. These fairs and events help you connect with employers and search for part-time, internship, Co-op, and full-time positions.

Suit-A-Bull

Suit-A-Bull is a free professional clothing rental service for USF students. Suit-A-Bull has over 1300 items including suits, jackets, pants, shirts, skirts, and dresses. Students can visit Suit-A-Bull to borrow attire for interviews, events, or other occasions where professional clothing is required.

Online Service - Handshake

Handshake is your go-to website for jobs, internships, career fairs, and career event information! It is available to students 24-hours a day, 7-days a week and your account is created automatically … just login using MyUSF. Note that nightly updates to student records (including GPA and major data) may result in temporary access limitations while the updates are being processed.

Online Service - Big Interview

When preparing for a job interview, it’s not enough to just read advice — you need to put that advice into practice! For interview preparation and practice, we recommend that you use the virtual tool Big Interview, which you have free access to as a USF student. Big Interview provides an AI-powered assessment of your mock interview sessions, which can be tailored to your specific industry, job interests, and experience level.

Online Service - Candid Career

This online service is like your own personal YouTube channel for career advice, interviews with professionals about their jobs and career paths, and short clips about what it's like to work in different industries!
