STEALTH Lab Alumni

Nabila Rehman

Nabila Rehman graduated with a major in Cell and Molecular Biology and a minor in Psychology. She served as a lab member for a Cancer Research Lab, in addition to Dr. Lee’s Sleep, Stress, and Health (STEALTH) Lab. She is passionate about understanding and participating in research related to the medical field, health, and general well-being. She plans to pursue a higher degree in Medicine and become a physician who promotes preventative care and healthy living. She is currently attending medical school.


Rosangela Garcia

Rosangela Garcia recently graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences with a Concentration in Biological Health Sciences. She is interested in pursuing a career as a Physician’s Assistant or as Doctor with a Doctorate in Medicine.


Gabriel Bustamante-Salas

Gabriel Bustamante-Salas recently graduated with a major in Biomedical Sciences and a minor in Gerontology. He intends to pursue a Doctorate in Medicine and join Doctors without Borders.


Britney Veal

Britney Veal recently graduated with a major in Psychology and a minor in Behavioral Healthcare. In addition to Dr. Lee’s Sleep, Stress, and Health (STEALTH) Lab, she was a research assistant the Cogstate lab and the Electroencephalography (EEG) lab. She was accepted into the University of South Florida, School of Aging Studies Ph.D. Program. She intends to pursue a doctorate in Clinical Psychology with a focus on Neuropsychology in order to become a Clinical Neuropsychologist. She led mindfulness practices during team meetings.


Taylor Harris

Taylor Harris recently graduated with a major in Psychology and a minor in Leadership Studies. She will be attending the University of Kansas for the Counseling Psychology Ph.D. Program.


Rachel Thurn

Rachel Thurn recently graduated with a major in Biomedical Sciences and a minor in Psychology. She is currently an intern at Moffitt Cancer Center and hopes to pursue research in the field of chemistry.


Alexandra Carey

Alexandra Carey is a recent graduate from the Muma College of Business at USF, where she earned dual undergraduate degrees in Marketing and Business Analytics/Information Systems. Following her graduation, she decided to go back to school to pursue her passion for studying human behaviors and using those insights to improve the lives of others. She is excited to see the impact that the STEALTH lab will have on the community.


Jeilah Pabon

Jeilah Pabón recently graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology. She plans to pursue a Psychology Doctorate in Clinical Psychology and practice Clinical Psychology as an Army Officer. Jeilah is interested in pursuing research directly applicable to the care of current service members and veterans, such as the work done in Dr. Lee’s Sleep, Stress, and Health (STEALTH) Lab.


Ana Sorto

Ana Sorto is a fourth-year pre-med student majoring in Psychology. She plans to pursue a Medical Degree. She currently volunteers with Arts4All Florida and Moffitt Cancer Center. She serves as Events Chair for USF’s Central American Student Alliance (CENSA) and Treasurer for USF’s Queer + Trans People of Color Collective (QTPOCC). She is excited to continue learning, gaining new experiences, and continuing her medical journey.


Lisa Patel

Lisa Patel is a recent graduate from USF with a bachelor's degree in Biomedical Sciences. She plans to attend medical school this upcoming summer in hopes of becoming a physician who can provide care to those in underserved areas.


Chelsea Djedi

Chelsea Djedi is a recent graduate from USF with bachelor’s degrees in Biomedical Sciences and Behavioral Healthcare with a concentration in Children's Mental Health. She plans to pursue a Medical Degree and work in the field of pediatric health. She hopes to provide medicine to underserved populations in the future.


Taylor F. D. Vigoureux

Taylor F. D. Vigoureux, Ph.D. Candidate, was the first lab manager of the STEALTH lab. Mrs. Vigoureux was responsible for data collection, management, and analyses that occurred in the STEALTH lab, mentoring and overseeing undergraduate research assistants, and working in a collaborative fashion with the Director and collaborators.


Karley Deason

Karley Deason is a fourth-year student majoring in Aging Sciences. She is passionate about gerontology and plans to attend medical school specializing in geriatric medicine in rural areas.


Julia Woolley

Julia Woolley is a third-year student double majoring in Aging Sciences and Behavioral Healthcare with a concentration in Applied Behavior Analysis. She is passionate about helping families, caregivers and patients impacted by Alzheimer's disease and hopes to gain as much research and clinical experience in both the aging and behavior analysis fields possible. She plans to pursue her doctoral degree and hopes to conduct research on intervention-based techniques to better help these populations impacted by Alzheimer's disease.


 

Leonel Camejp

 

Leonel Camejo is a fourth-year student majoring in Biomedical Sciences and minoring in Aging Studies. He plans on pursuing medical school to become a family physician. He volunteers at the USF BRIDGE Clinic as an interpreter and is a peer buddy for the USF Best Buddies chapter. He also serves as Vice President of USF’s Gerontology Honor Society, Sigma Phi Omega (SPO). Leonel’s research interests include minority healthcare disparities, clinical research, and investigating the effects of stress and sleep on health outcomes.


 

Arooj Khan

Arooj Khan is a fourth year seeking a dual degree in Public Health and Biomedical Sciences. She hopes to become a Physician and help pave the path to more accessible healthcare options for underrepresented populations. She is very excited to better understand the interconnections between Psychology, Medicine, and Public Health during her time at the STEALTH Lab.
