Norín Dollard, Ph.D., is a Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Child and Family Studies in the College of Behavioral & Community Sciences at the University of South Florida. She is also Director of Florida KIDS COUNT, an effort of the Annie E. Casey Foundation that tracks the status of children in the U.S. By providing policymakers and citizens with benchmarks of child well-being, KIDS COUNT seeks to enrich local, state, and national discussions concerning ways to secure better futures for all children.

Dr. Dollard has over fifteen years of services research and evaluation experience in the area of behavioral health needs of children and families and has been responsible for or directed all aspects of the research process including design, implementation, analysis, interpretation and dissemination. Currently she is Co-Principal Investigator of the ‘Evaluation of Medicaid Funded Out of Home Care Alternatives’, sponsored by the Agency for Health Care Administration, is Evaluation Principal Investigator for One Community Partnershipin Broward County, Florida Florida, sponsored by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration’s Center for Mental Health Services, Co-Principal Investigator of the Civil Citation Equal Justice Program sponsored by the USF Collaborative for Children, Families and Communities, and Evaluation Director of the Family Heritage program, a kinship care initiative sponsored by the Agency for Children and Families.
