Kimberly Lee began her career in education 27 years ago as a classroom teacher in North Carolina. Along with working with students, she found great excitement leading professional development for teachers at various school sites around the state. Upon moving to Florida in 2005, Kimberly taught fourth and fifth grades at Deer Park Elementary. She was recognized as Deer Park Elementary Teacher of the Year in 2007 and later honored by Junior Achievement of Tampa Bay as their 2014 Educator of the Year. Kimberly returned to her work with teachers in 2015 as a Peer Evaluator-conducting observations and providing evaluative feedback in more than 300 classrooms. In her current role as an Instructional Mentor, Kimberly continues to use her observation and feedback skills to coach and support novice teachers in the district. She has most recently completed her Education Specialist degree in Educational Administration and Leadership from Walden University and plans to continue her love of learning in the years to come.
