My name is Jitpakorn Pichaitanaporn. People call me “Jingreed”. I earned my Bachelor Degree in CSD (Audiology) from Mahidol University, Bangkok, Thailand. I am currently a Ph.D. student at USF. I have earned varies of experiences from my Ph.D. training here including variety of courses and interesting research topics.

During my training at USF, I have taken a variety of courses with valuable content for research training that has included computational methods (e.g., Matlab programming), statistical analysis with multiple software platforms (e.g., SAS, SPASS, Stata), psychoacoustics, neurophysiology and advanced electrophysiology.

My research interests including age-related hearing impairment, distortion product otoacoustic emissions (DPOAEs), and auditory neurophysiology. My motivation to learn about age-related hearing loss in order to improve the quality of life in older adults. I hope that my research will contribute to the understanding of speech perception in older adults and the advancement of hearing device technology to facilitate daily communication.

In my spare time, I am interested in landscape painting, cycling, running, and gym. Feel free to reach out to me if you have any question. Thank you!
