Fall 2022 Commencement will be held at the Yuengling Center basketball arena on the Tampa campus on Friday, December 9 and Saturday, December 10 for students from all three USF campuses. The ceremony schedule is available below.
Friday, December 9
- 6:30 p.m.: Bachelor’s degree recipients from the colleges of Behavioral and Community Sciences, Muma College of Business, Education, The Arts and the Office of Undergraduate Studies
Saturday, December 10
- 9:00 a.m.: Bachelor’s degree recipients from the following departments of the College of Arts and Sciences: Zimmerman School of Advertising and Mass Communications; Anthropology; Cell Biology, Microbiology, and Molecular Biology; Integrative Biology; Chemistry; Economics; School of Geosciences; School of Information; School of Interdisciplinary Global Studies; Journalism and Digital Communication; Mathematics and Statistics; Physics; Psychology; School of Public Affairs; Sociology; and Women’s and Gender Studies
- 1:30 p.m.: Bachelor's degree recipients from the colleges of Engineering, Nursing, and Public Health, and from the following departments of the College of Arts and Sciences: Communication, English, History, Humanities and Cultural Studies, Philosophy, Religious Studies, and World Languages
- 6:30 p.m.: Master’s, educational specialist and doctoral degree recipients from all colleges – Arts and Sciences, Behavioral and Community Sciences, Muma College of Business, Education, Engineering, Patel College of Global Sustainability, Graduate Studies, Marine Science, Morsani College of Medicine, Nursing, Taneja College of Pharmacy, Public Health, and The Arts
Registration for students will open in the coming weeks and will close in late November, providing students ample time to register to attend. You will be notified via email when registration is available. If you need proof of eligibility to attend Commencement for visa purposes to allow your overseas guests to attend, please contact us and we will assist you. Please note that attending USF Commencement is not required and students receive diplomas in the mail approximately six to eight weeks after the end of the semester regardless of whether or not they attend a ceremony.
GUEST REGISTRATION AND TICKETS
There are no tickets required for guests to attend Commencement and no limit on how many guests each graduate may bring. Ceremonies are livestreamed via the USF YouTube channel for those guests who are unable to attend.
