Summer Housing Announcement (4/3)

On March 30, 2020, USF announced that a full schedule of online courses will be delivered throughout Summer sessions A, B, and C, so that continuing students can maintain their academic progress and new students can begin their journey at the university. In light of the online delivery method and the delayed move-out resulting from the Executive Order 20-91, summer housing will not be available on-campus in 2020 except for those Spring students with a continuing need who have already been granted an exception to stay.  If on-line learning is supplemented with any on-campus instruction for the Summer B session, we will re-evaluate the feasibility to offer limited housing on-campus.

We are no longer accepting new Summer 2020 housing applications. For those students who have applied for on-campus housing for Summer A, AB, and C housing terms, your application will be cancelled automatically. For those who have applied for Summer B housing, we will place your application on hold unless we receive a cancellation request from you. If on-campus housing becomes an option during the Summer B term, additional information will be provided.

For USF Tampa campus: The $50 application fee will be credited to your Oasis account at the end of April following the processing of the Spring 2020 housing and dining refunds. For those who have applied for Summer B housing, we will place your application on hold unless we receive a cancellation request from you. If you choose to cancel your Summer B application, we will credit the $50 application fee to your Oasis account.

Student support functions, such as tutoring, counseling and advising, along with other essential resources will continue remotely to help you be successful. To assist students with the academic and wellness support needed during this unprecedented time, USF has prepared a toolkit which includes information and links to helpful resources on all campuses.  For current students, click here. For new students, click here.

We look forward to welcoming you back to campus in the Fall for a fresh start.  Until that time, be well and stay safe.
