Are you preparing to take the Florida Teacher Certification Exam (FTCE) General Knowledge
Test? We can help you get test-ready! The College of Education is hosting a series
of test preparation boot camps for individuals who are preparing to take the General
Knowledge Test. Sessions include short but intensive overviews of all sections of
the exam to help you achieve success.

DAY 1: ENGLISH, ESSAY & READING
9:00 – 9:45 AM: Introductory Session*
10:00 AM – 12:30 PM: Breakout Session #1
Attendees can elect to attend one of the following options:
- English Language Skills (ELS)
- Reading
1:30 – 4:00 PM: Breakout Session #2
Attendees can elect to attend one of the following options:- English Language Skills (ELS) & Essay**
- Reading
DAY 2: MATHEMATICS
9:00 – 9:45 AM: Introductory Session*
10:00 AM – 12:30 PM: Breakout Session #1
Math Competencies 1 & 3
1:30 – 4:00 PM: Breakout Session #2
Math Competencies 2 & 4*All should attend the introductory session at least once.
** The ELS & Essay session will be scheduled from 1:30 – 5:00 PM, with the extra hour delegated to the essay portion of the GKT at no extra cost.

NEW! Evening Boot Camp
A new addition in Spring 2019, the March session will be hosted in the evening on three separate days and will offer an “express” style workshop for students studying for various sections of the exam.

Registration Costs:
USF Students: Free
Non-USF Students: $25 per session or $75 for all four sessions
