Behavior Analyst Course Sequence

The Association for Behavior Analysis International has verified the following courses toward the coursework requirements for eligibility to take the Board Certified Behavior Analyst® or Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst® examination. Applicants will need to meet additional requirements before they can be deemed eligible to take the examination.

The following school psychology courses have been approved as part of the sequence:

  • EDF 6166 - Consulting Skills for Staff Development
  • EDF 6217 - Behavior Theory and Classroom Learning
  • SPS 6197 - Psychoeducational Diagnosis & Prescription I
  • SPS 6700 - Psychoeducational Interventions I: Academic Interventions
  • SPS 6701C - Psychoeducational Interventions II: Behavioral Approaches

 In addition, two ABA program courses are included in the sequence:

  • MHS 6744 - Single Case Experimental Design
  • MHS 6780 - Ethics in Applied Behavior Analysis
