USF Green to Gold Grant

The USF Green to Gold Grant is awarded to entering first time in college freshmen who are Florida residents with a zero Expected Family Contribution (EFC) who complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by USF's priority deadline of January 1. This grant, in combination with the Federal Pell Grant, will cover tuition, fees and books. Recipients must enroll full-time (12 USF credit hours) each fall and spring semester. The grant may be renewed annually for a total of four years. Grant will be reduced if total aid, including private scholarships, exceeds cost of attendance.

In order for the grant to be renewed in subsequent years, student must:

  1. meet the FAFSA priority filing deadline each year
  2. have a zero EFC; and
  3. maintain a 2.25 cumulative USF GPA
