She was awarded the Global Citizen Study Abroad Scholarship and studied in London and Paris during summer 2016. Eliana has participated in community service work with Bulls Service Breaks, where she volunteered at the non-profit organization La Union del Pueblo Entero in Texas. She is involved with various student organizations including Big Brothers Big Sisters, Omega Phi Beta Sorority Inc., and the Latin American Student Association, and she is a Certified Student Leader through the CLCE. Eliana also works as a student assistant at the Academy of Teaching and Learning Excellence. She plans to graduate in May, 2017.
