A Global Citizens Project (GCP) Student Leader seeks to promote the philosophy of lifelong learning as a fundamental quality of being a global citizen. In addition, student leaders serve as role models for other students while pursuing the Global Citizen Award themselves. The focus of the position is marketing and recruitment for the office and the Global Citizen Award and is for 10 hours/week, including a tuition wavier. Dr. Karla Davis-Salazar gave the closing plenary at AAC&U's Conference on Global Learning in College. Dr. Roger Brindley, Dean Eric Eisenberg, and Dr. Davis-Salazar also led a discussion on an organic approach to engaging campus stakeholders in the globalization process.
