Dominican Republic Trip
USF Honors students travel to the Sosúa, Dominican Republic, for a 10-day immersive experience in culture and global health. The team of students volunteer at mobile medical clinics and help construct sustainable projects to increase food security. Students learn about global health from Dr. Reginald Kerolle, founder of the Kerolle Initiative, shadow physicians in the clinics, and learn about Dominican culture and Spanish language from instructors working with the Kerolle Initiative. You can learn more about this opportunity on the university's Education Abroad website.
