Leadership Enrichment is an interactive, cohort-based program that provides USF mid-level leaders with the opportunity to examine themselves as leaders and to expand their self-awareness of effective leadership skills, styles and behaviors.
The program includes:
- Curriculum delivered by a leadership expert
- Eight, three-hour instructor-led sessions over a four-month period
- In-between session activities
- Peer partners

To be eligible for the program, candidates must be full-time (non-OPS) mid-level leaders of the University of South Florida that are currently serving in a leadership role with direct reports. Temporary employees are not eligible to participate.
Applicants must provide a completed application that includes their supervisor’s approval.
If selected, participants must commit to eight, three-hour instructor-led sessions from March - June 2020 with activities/assignments to be completed in-between sessions.
The ideal candidate must:
- Be goal oriented and self-motivated
- Possess excellent communication skills
- Be motivated to lead and be an agent of change
- Possess interest in learning more about himself/herself as a person and leader
- Be willing to be adaptable and open to feedback
- Be able to participate in all eight class sessions
- Have their college/department's budget support for the $580 program fee
Mid-level leaders interested in the program must complete the application and secure their supervisor’s approval via signature (electronic signatures are acceptable). Participants should then email the application to email@example.com by the posted deadline. A panel will review the applications and select 24 participants. Applicants will be notified of their selection via email. Payment for the program fee must be made by the college/department prior to the first program session, or the participant may be disqualified.
In order for the individual and the cohort to fully benefit from this developmental program, attendance is mandatory. One absence may be excused at the instructor’s discretion and only in the event of an extreme circumstance such as illness or emergency. Two absences could disqualify the participant from completing the program. Once the program has started, there wil be no refunds of program fees.
