CRITICAL NEWS AND UPDATES
We are migrating to a new anti-spam solution, Exchange Online Protection, to replace the existing Barracuda environment.
This will start this weekend, August 15th-17th. We are doing this to provide new security features and enhancements to existing mail flow to speed up delivery.
Click Exchange Online Protection from the left to learn more.
All USF students are now enabled for Office 365
USF IT is supporting our University's transition to remote learning by providing the full Office 365 service suite to all USF Students, and Employees. We have documentation on the left to assist in this transition. We encourage you to utilize all links.
Of critical importance are Microsoft Teams and Office 365 for Students. Our faculty and staff currently have access to this full suite of services. We still encourage you to review all available documentation. For immediate self guided training, please utilize the resources below.
External Email Notice
In order to better protect our University community, we are placing a notice on all external email to USF. This will not impact email from our own email systems (including mail.usf.edu). This is done in an effort to combat increasing and changing phishing attacks that try to leverage our email system. Read below for a copy of the notice.
Note: If your department has a service that is impacted by this notice, please email email@example.com with the following information. We do have exemptions in place and can do so on request for senders so their emails are not flagged.
- Example of the email in question
- Sender, date, and subject of the message
