OLIN OASIS Access Review
Instructions for Individual Account Owners
As many of you are aware, Appworx and all Banner instances will be moving to a Linux platform. In preparation for this, IT has developed a process to provide users who currently use Appworx and/or directly connect to the Banner database for reporting, a method to obtain the now required reserved lease IP, ACLs, and set up DUO (Two-Factor Authentication). If you still would like to keep your access, you will need to re-request access. Please note this is NOT for new requests (those should be requested the regular way.)
HOW DO I REQUEST THE RETENTION OF MY ACCESS(ES)?
Please select a representative to make all requests for your department using the attached template (Reporting Level Access Request). Each individual should send their designee the following information:
- Telephone number
- Banner ID
- Employee ID or USF ID
- Their current IP address along with the date and time the IP was retrieved [http://www-v4.net.usf.edu/]
- Access needing to be retained (Banner Reporting, Appworx, or Both)
- The reason for the access (. If a justification is not included in the request, it will not be processed.
- If you know the names of the tables that you need access to please include them in the request if they can be easily listed.
Once submitted to IT Security, they will route your request through the appropriate channels until all steps in the attached instructions are completed.
Please submit all requests to IT-Security@usf.edu by August 19th at 5pm.
