A short paragraph or two describing what you do at the college
As Director of Communications I’m responsible for establishing and guiding the strategy
for, and execution of, all communications-related functions of the USF College of
Marine Science. I am the primary storyteller for the College and am responsible for
print and/or digital news, media outreach and marketing, and for providing support
of alumni outreach, strategic fundraising, and community engagement initiatives. I
work closely with our webmaster on all of these initiatives. I am also leading the
development of a new outreach program focused on coastal resiliency called Guardians
of the Gulf – an opportunity afforded the College by virtue of its relationship with
the St. Petersburg Innovation District.
