2017 Fulbright US Student Program English Teaching Assistantship to Colombia

Carmella Guiol, originally from Miami, FL, is a proud recipient of the 2017 Fulbright US Student Program English teaching assistantship to Colombia. This award afforded her the opportunity to teach English to students who are majoring in foreign languages at a university in Colombia.

During the application process, she worked closely with ONS. "They helped me obtain the Fulbright [award] by providing important mentorship through the long application process," she says.

Carmella attributes her success to persistence and her opportunistic nature.

In the future, she hopes to continue the legacy of her Fulbright experience and work in Germany.

Congratulations to Carmella on winning the 2017 Fulbright US Student Program English teaching assistantship to Colombia!
