All students who work for Orientation become Orientation Leaders (OLs). We are one big team in Orientation and we work hard to ensure that every student has a seamless transition to USF! Our Orientation Leaders work with First Year Students, Transfer Students, International Students, and Families and Guests at Orientation. Read below about each of the Orientation Leader positions.
Working with First Year Students
Our Orientation Leaders who work with First Year Students help transition new first time in college students through a two-day, overnight orientation experience.
Working with Transfer Students
Our Orientation Leaders who work with Transfer Students help transition new transfer students through multiple orientation programs, both a one-day program and an express half-day program.
Working with Families & Guests
Our Orientation Leaders who work with Families and Guests help transition the support systems for all new students through all of the various Orientation programs.
Working with International Students
Our Orientation Leaders who work with International Students help transition new first time in college and transfer students through a week-long overnight orientation experience. Join the 2020 Orientation Leader Team!
Our application period for the 2019 Orientation Leader team is now closed. However, applications for the Orientation Leader for International positions will open in Spring 2019 and applications for the 2020 Orientation Leader for First Year, Transfer, and Family & Guest positions will open in August 2019. We encourage you to stay connected throughout the year with the Office of Orientation on our social media channels and through this website.
