SDG 4: Quality Education

The fourth Sustainable Development Goal aims to ensure inclusive and quality education for all and promote lifelong learning. Education helps to break the cycle of poverty, reduce inequalities, and empower people to live more healthy and sustainable lives. Quality education is also dependent on adequate infrastructure and teacher training. PCGS hosts a number of conferences, lecture series, and workshops to promote sustainability education and introduce students, teachers, and community members to global issues and diverse perspectives from all around the world. PCGS received a grant with the Gus A. Stavros Center to train teachers to incorporate sustainability into their curriculum – see materials from the workshops here: https://www.sustainabilitysuperheroes.org/
