SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS
SDG 5: Gender Equality

The fifth Sustainable Development Goal aims to achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls. Although women and girls represent half of the world’s population, they face inequalities in health care, nutrition, education, political leadership, and economic roles. Women’s and girl’s empowerment is essential to expand economic growth and promote social development, to reduce poverty, and ensure sustainable development.
