SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS

SDG 7: Affordable and Clean Energy

sdg-7

The seventh Sustainable Development Goal aims to ensure access to affordable, reliable, sustainable, and modern energy for all by 2030. While electricity is now widely available, much of its production is still reliant on fossil fuels such as coal, oil, or gas that emit greenhouse gases and exacerbate climate change. As a result, there is a need to accelerate the transition to an affordable, reliable, and sustainable energy system by investing in renewable energy resources and developing clean energy technologies and infrastructure. Faculty and students at PCGS are committed to researching and developing renewable energy resources, such as biofuels and biogas, to help communities transition to renewable sources of energy.
