About

Sustainable Development Goals

The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, adopted by all United Nations Member States in 2015, provides a shared blueprint for peace and prosperity for people and the planet, now and into the future. It is focused on the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which are an urgent call for action through global partnerships to create a just and sustainable world in the face of our many challenges including poverty, climate change, clean water and energy, health care for all, and transitioning to sustainable cities. The Patel College of Global Sustainability is committed to realizing the 17 Goals through our academic programs, faculty research, speaker series, events, and affiliated initiatives, including the USF SDG Action Alliance.
