Study Away or Study Abroad

What is Study Away or Study Abroad and why is it important?

Study Away or Study Abroad is more than broadening their view beyond USF, the state of Florida, or the United States, and is not just a field trip or a quick tour. Studying Away or Studying Abroad challenges students academically, provides them with opportunities to connect and engage in different cultures, languages, and customs, and allows for learning important lessons outside the classroom. Studying Away or Studying Abroad encompasses experiences in studying domestically and internationally.

Provost’s Scholars can earn up to a $2,000 scholarship to be applied to a USF-sponsored program. Students will earn scholarship funds after having completed at least one of the Professional Development or Service/Leadership Foundational Experiences.
